I remember when people called it “the marvelous box”
I remember when a friend, which intelligence was unbelievable was consumed by it charmed.
I remember when some of the early ones got sick all the time and laughed about its images.
I remember wondering much later whether they’d been sleeping like a rock.
I remember keeping up with each generation of idiot shows: gossip shows, soap operas, stupid comedies, violence movies.
I remember how it infuriated me when journalists declared it came to stay forever.
I remember my surprise when men and women couldn’t be separated from it even talking about politics.
I remember “Sponge Bob Square Pants”, “Big Brother”, “World Cup”, and that stupid people creating a new “religion” adoring Maradona (and that’s just recalling one).
I remember wild rumors about guys who let books forgotten under those sad beds tired to be used by people which only watched that damned bewitched box.
I remember thinking those hearsays couldn’t be real.
I remember when I stopped turning it on.
I remember when I made a list of all my favourite programs and tried to escape from them.
I remember thinking I was lucky it couldn’t consume my mind.
I remember realizing that it was the biggest monster I’ve never thought.
I remember when the new millennium came so hurried in the in the year 2000.
I remember throughout the years it improves its “everything” in order to mesmerize kids and adults.
I remember everybody talking about what happened last night by their new modern box.
I remember that Roman Circus, which made forgot war, economy and pain.
I remember family and friends contaminated with all that pollution due to government conspiring.
I remember saw brains shriveling little by little.
I remember fighting against that pandemic happening.
Made by myself.
Hecho por mi.
